The following business award categories are open to any female business owner or partner and you are eligible to enter up to 3 categories.
These women’s business award categories are not a definitive list; they simply illustrate what types of business the category applies to. If you are unsure about your eligibility for a category please contact us for advice.
1. Best Business Woman in Business Services
This award will be presented to the best female in the professional services field whose business serves other companies and can demonstrate the outstanding contribution they have made to their clients.
This category is open to any business in the professional services field e.g. Marketing, HR, Social Media, Finance, VA & Admin Support, Graphic Design, Printing, Insurance, book keeping, accountant.

2. Best Business Woman in Health & Wellness
This award will be presented to the best female owned business in the health, beauty or wellness therapy industry. For those who can exhibit the outstanding impact they have made with their clients and why their business is the best in class.
This category is open to any health, beauty and wellness business e.g. Personal Trainers, Acupuncturists, Massage therapist, Reflexologists, Beauticians, Nutritionists, Osteopaths, Counselors, Physiotherapists, Yoga practitioners.

3. Best Business Woman working with Children or Families
This award will be presented to the best business that supports children or families. They must prove the impact they make in their field and how their business provides support that makes a clear difference.
This category is open to any business that works directly with children, families or parents e.g. Theatre and Music Schools, Sporting Clubs, Publications, Tuition, Training, Development, Pregnancy Services, Children’s Welfare, Nurseries.

4. Best Online Business
The number of online only businesses over recent years has increased dramatically and many women find this works perfectly for them. We are looking for the best online business in any industry. To be eligible to enter you must only trade online. This means you sell products or services online.

5. Best Business Woman in Retail or a Consumer Business
Do you run a shop or market stall? Do you give your customers outstanding customer service with an added touch? What makes your retail business successful and stand out? Or are you a business that serves consumers? Tell us all about your business and prove you are profitable and have a great reputation among your competitors.
This category is aimed at companies who sell products or services to consumers (Not Business to Business) or have a retail outlet.

This award will be presented to the best female working within the technology industry.
This category is aimed at companies who provide services in the technology sector e.g. SEO, Website Design, PC support, IT training, IT Support, Programming or any business operating in the technology sector.

This award will be given to the person who can show an outstanding contribution and support to other business owners through networking events. It is open to females who run a networking group or those who attend networking events and can clearly demonstrate significant support for their fellow networkers.

This award will be presented to the best new business.
This category is open to any business which has been trading for less than 2 years (business start date 1st January 2015 or later) and can demonstrate the impact they have made in their market sector, how the business differentiates from the competition and their growth potential.

This award will be presented to the business who can best demonstrate consistently outstanding levels of service to their customers.
The winner will need to prove to the judges an ability to deliver true added value and give clear examples of going the extra mile for their customers.

This award will be presented to a woman who has successfully franchised their business. The judges will want to know about how you developed the franchise, how many franchisees you have, how you support them and your plans for your brand.

This award will be presented to a franchisee who can demonstrate their success. The judges will want to know how you made your franchise successful and what makes you the best, not only in your franchise, but in your industry.

This award will go to a woman running a successful recruitment business. The judges will be looking for details of how you have grown your business, customer service procedures and testimonials about your business from clients and candidates.

This award will be presented to a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to projects/charities within her community within the past 2 years or who manages a charity, CIC or Social Enterprise.

You cannot amend the submission so we suggest you take your time to complete the answers in a Word document and then copy and paste these into the online entry form.
